pairing after feeding?

I am new to this... very sorry if this is a dumb question. Just seperated my 100% het hypo female and Orange hypo male, after about 3 days of being paired up, to feed. Did not find them locked up at all. I am going to pair her back up with the orange hypo male again and was wondering how long after feeding does she need before pairing her back up. I am also thinking of pairing my larger hypo male with her if the orange hypo will not breed. How many pairings should i give the orange before pairing the other hypo, if I never see a lock? Thanks for any info.

After a day, go for it. I separate pairs to feed, then give them a day and the male gets rotated back in. Some people like to give an extra day of rest, it is up to you. As long as the male is eating, you should be fine. If he does not eat, give him a little longer rest. Males will and can breed themselves to death, so make sure they are healthy, eating and ready to go. Good luck!

I have gotten 3 clutches of eggs from my Butter male and have only witnessed him locked up once. Sometimes they are just shy breeders. If he is big enough, give him some time. He'll go if he is ready.
