Feeder Shortage?
Anyone experiencing this?
I typically get my feeders from a local store that orders in bulk for me at a discount price. However, for the last 4 weeks they've not been able to meet my needs. They say it's due to their big national supplier having a shortage due to a meningitis outbreak and they had to kill 2/3's of their own stock. So I am only getting about half of what I should.
Is anyone else was experiencing this or heard of it?

Who's there national supplier?
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

Aside from the recent Rodent Pro issue http://www.in.gov/activecalendar/Eve...91&print=print which was addressed here http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/foru...d.php?t=334751 I am not aware of any other issues on that level.
I have heard recently that the main supplier of pet mice in GA had issues with their mice which is why mice have been pulled out from local ATL Petcos and Petsmarts (no idea on the issue itself) that's about it.

There is a shortage around here as well. I buy from a local breeder and pet stores have been calling him all month to buy his stock. He has even had to turn some away!

We are also experiencing shortages in Indiana. I spoke with one of the local providers at the Indiana Reptile Expo last weekend and they cited the meningitis outbreak for causing the issues. For the people I spoke with, none of their stock was obtained from the suppliers with sick rodents, but they have been selling out quickly because reptile owners who used the large suppliers with sick animals have had to go elsewhere to meet their needs.

I'm wondering just what percentage of the market share RodentPro has, because I've heard the same thing in Alabama from breeders and a pet shop. And it's been going on for at least a month now. I don't need many rodents, so I haven't had an issue, but it sounds like bulk orders are a little tough right now.

From what I have heard, this latest bit is not related to Rodent Pro at all.
