    Sugar/Pinstripe

Seems I'm full of questions today.

    http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...gar-pinstripe/

Am I not seeing the sugar here because the snake is still young and thus the spots that would likely be white are still pink/orange?

    I'm seeing it.
It totally discolored the pinstripe and changed the pattern. The pattern is less uniform and more 'unorganized'. Overall, a less defined pin pattern.
Sugars tend to have a connected pattern of alien heads. I can see it on the sides of the pins posted.

    Got it!

I'm seeing the disturbed pin pattern with the elongated alien heads, ala a regular sugar.

What I don't see is the white on the sides of a regular sugar. Hence me thinking that the pink might turn more white. That possible?

I think the pink will turn white. Some Spider Calicos look pink initially, but turn white.
But it could just be a low white example too. Or perhaps the white just doesn't show up on the snake?
I think more have to be produced to come to a conclusion.

Anybody feel the itch to show off your sugar?

    Hi!

My Wife and me bred the Sugar-Pins that are shown at WOBP

    To answer all the Questions:

yup, it def. is a Sugar-Pin
It`s getting white Sides by the Time, just like the Sugar Spider/ ClaiBee. The sides are getting lighter Day by Day and both of the Babys show the typical orange Colour of the Original Sugar Line.
The pairing was a Rene Valentin Line Sugar Male to a Pinstripe Female
The Sugar totaly "destroys" the Pin Pattern, as some other Morphs do...
The Sugar we own is low white, but the Colour/Pattern of the Sugar doesen`t get to the Babys.. you can have high and low white babys from a low white Sugar and a high white can produce low whites only too.
We paired our Sugar to 2 of our Clown Females, and as strange as it sounds (babys are still in the Eggs) they show a Clown Pattern on the Head o_O. Our Sugar is def. not HET Clown, because he is out of a Pastel Sugar to Fire Pairing, so Sugar def. do some strange stuff to Patterns

Here is a Picture our Sugar Male:

and one of the Sugar Babys:

Sadly i haven`t seen any other Sugar Pin so far (only pastel sugar pin) and i can`t compare any to ours .....

I hope i could help you and sorry for my bad English, i know it sucks

    Cheers from Bavaria/Germany

Post up some current pics of the kiddos. I imagine they will be stunners when the white really comes in!
