Make sure that you quarantine the new guy, and soak him in some soapy water to make sure that it has no ticks or mites. It's kind of like doing a diagnosis for mites and also treating for them in one step. Put the snake in a closed rubbermaid with just enough warm water to cover the snake's body, but so that it does not have to work to keep its head abovewater. After about 20 mins you can swish the bubbles to the side and look for any mites that may have fell off and drowned. If nothing turns up, you'll still want to get the snake checked out for internal parasites at a vet.
But even if it's clean, I would not house 2 BPs together. I have had two frogs both die of "redleg" and they were both housed in the same tank. if they were seperate, I may have been able to save one.

I think that's a good plan.
3.1.1 BP (Snyder, Hanover, Bo Peep, Sir NAITF, Eve), 1.2.3 Rhacodactylus ciliatus (Sandiego, Carmen, Scooby, Camo, BABIES ), 1.0 Chow (Buddha), 0.2 cats (Jezebel, PCBH "Nanners"), 0.3 humans
