Been trying to come up with a cool or unique logo for the name that my girlfriend and i decided to call ourselves. Our name is Country Bred Constrictors. People will probably call us by my screen name CB Constrictors or CBC. Any ideas on a design?

the first question they would ask though is what they had in mind for a design lol.

I would say just in general look at logos, figure out an idea of what you want. Just want text, want an icon, want the icon used in the text, full cartoon, something entirely different? Color scheme? might help out the person making the logo.

I have done hours and hours of observing at shows and websites and such, and seeing people accumulate at this table and not that, I've come to the conclusion that logos are extremely important to attract attention and draw in customers. I guess thats obvious but I think they are more important than alot of people realize. It's the first thing people see when they walk up to the display afetr all. So in my opinion it must look professional, be vibrant and easy to read and see. I want my logo to be the first thing people see when they walk in the room at a show and I don't want people to have to struggle to comprehend what it is or what it says. I personally like striking logos that are memorable yet not overly complex. It is a work of art after all so why not have some fun with it and make it cool. Come up with something that forces the eye to look at it. Something that piques the interest and curiosity, something that makes people want to know what you have to offer. I would start with these ideas in mind when you are coming up with a design.

I suggest getting a font, color scheme, and general idea ready before presenting it to an artist.
For ideas, I suppose it depends if you want a more simple or detailed logo.

I did a logo design for someone here. They had zero ideas on how to go about the logo other than their name so it was quite difficult to come up with something.
I drew something up and the breeder did like my logo. However, they disliked the font. I asked them to suggest a few fonts that they liked and I never got a response. They just continued to ask me to change the font. I don't know what kind of font style they like and there are thousands of different types of font. I'd rather not guess blindly. Eventually, they stopped contact. Currently, I see that particular person use the flawed logo on their BP.net avatar. Moral of the story, have something in mind and keep good communication with the artist.

Too agree with satomi have your ideas ready for any artist so they know what you have in mind it's hard for us graphic designers to know what suits your needs and wants with little info
    With kindest regards,

It may help to get grab ideas from other breeders logos nothing wrong with taking ideas and manipulating it into something of your own.
