    BP vs ferret

A friend of mine has a ferret and I was saying my BP should have a play date with his ferret.

Of course i was joking around but out of curiosity would ferrets look like another edible rodent in a BP's eyes?

Only to a very big bp. Id be more afraid of the ferret hurting the ball. And tbh im not sure if they'd see it as a food source. Maybe.

Call me not "PC", but why does this dumb question even come up?

Ferrets are part of the weasel family. Weasels are known snake killers. Did you ever see Rikki Tikki Tavi? Long story short weasel + snake = dead snake.

In all honesty, I would not let any animal near my snakes. (Except for feeding it, obviously)
there is no reason to do it, and too many chances/reasons not to. They do not get joy out of other animals, it would only be for our amusement that it "plays" with something. Just my 2¢

The snake would not see it as rodent prey, ferrets are more cat than rat... and are carnivorous. the ferret would probably kill the snake.

    Re: BP vs ferret

When we were kids, my brothers used to threaten to toss my cat into my boa's cage. I countered by informing them that they would be next on the menu. Yes, weasel + snake = dead snake, most of the time.
