boa colors fading question

ok I posted awhile back about wanting an albino or possibly a sun glow. question is I no a Columbians color fades as they age, will an albino columbian or any morphs fade out badly also or do they hold there colors well? Thanks. Also been looking at hog islands lately, wish I had room and time for one of everything

Most albinos I see fade out: some will keep their saddles a bit and some will fade so much that they look solid pale yellow. It really depends on the snake. Some lines of albino may keep their colors better than others, but it's still on a snake by snake basis I believe. I read that Sharps and Lipsticks will keep their colors better than Kahls: so far my Sharp female is holding her saddles and really yellowing every where else. I would look into Sunglows: they are much brighter and defined than regular albinos and should hold their contrast better.

BTW it's Colombian with an "o" and Hogs are really nice snakes too. Here's my Sharp and my Hog females:

it's pretty much a flip of the coin whether they do or don't. Try to get a look at the parents, that would be a decent indicator.
