Mojave Question
Ok so I have been playing around with this morph for a while now and I know its a basic snake to some but we all know its key in a lot of different projects. The few I have have acquired over the last two years are as close to what they should be in my mind anyhow.
From my understanding A Mojave should have more of a yellow color where the gold should be and more brown where the black should be with grey showing on the sides in most examples. The alien heads also seem to be more pronounced and distinct.
Im sure many people have different ideas on what a Mojave should be and we can debate it all day but thats what many people including myself look for, no faults on anyone looking for other things.
With that said, I have been looking for a really stunning Mojave to add to my breeding stock for a project I'm working on and during my research I came across this photo.
When I look at this I see a perfect example of what I look for in this morph, but almost too perfect. Does anyone else think this snake has way way too much going on to be a "normal" Mojave? This has to have something else with it right? From what I can see its listed as an adult male breeder. No disrespect intended to AutralianAddiction.com and I hope nobody takes it that way but this little guy has me very curious.

To me that doesn't look like a great mojave. I expect to see lots of blushing and little to no black but a rich brown colouration, often with yellow tints to the sides. One of the nicest images I have seen is this one from the urban python.

there is a good description here too.

Just like many other morphs, there is a wide variance in appearance. It comes down to your preference and what traits you want to pass on in your breeding projects. My mojaves are from Brian Gundys gold blush lines and look different from the examples above. I would like to see a picture of yours.
5.3 normals, 3.1 mojave, 2.4 pastels, 1.0 yellow belly, 1.1 cinnamon, 1.1 het pied, 1.0 pastel/yellowbelly

Re: Mojave Question
I would love to send you pics of mine but I'm in afghanistan right now and they aren't on this computer, no way I'm bringing my good mac to this hellhole. And I agree that there is a wide variation in this and many other morphs which is why i made my original post.
With that said i really do appreciate the responses and commentary as they are always helpful but I am not asking if you think this is an awesome Mojave simply because I like it, I'm asking if this snake is even a Mojave at all? I believe that it is but with the color that it has I'm wondering if anyone thinks something else is plugged into this snake?
The snake from the Urban Python link is very nice as well but it has far too much brown for me. For the longterm project I'm trying to unfold, a snake this brown wouldn't follow the plan

I think it almost looks like a pastave, but just like all morphs, they can vary greatly.
I have a pair of mojaves myself, the female having the green hue to her and the male is really black.
I hope you find the mojave you're looking for for your project.

I can't keep up with what I have

It's a bright mojave that will make some nice bright combo's
Some mojaves are dark, some are bright, and depending on where you want to take it from there it will either enhance or not enhance the project.
I would take that kind of mojave to a bright snake to improve it even more.
Pastel, fire, OD, almost any cross that makes bright combo's would work for that mojo.
Does anyone else think this snake has way way too much going on to be a "normal" Mojave?
No, I see nothing but a mojave
