    Quick question..

    Does it mater what side of the heat tape you solder? My buddy is soldering the wire to the heat tape, and he was soldering the wire onto the other side of the heat tape. Will it still work?

    I dont think so. I think u have to solder it onto the side that heats up bc thats the side the metal strips are on.

    Aaron would know for sure

    Where is he when ya need him .. I have another strip just in case, but it would be a pain :|..

    It doesn't matter, as long as the wires make contact with the metal strips.

    I agree with the last post, as long as the wire is full contact with the outer metal strips you are good to go.
