So I have chosen names for all of my new snakes and the explanations are -
VPI Male - B-Dub was chosen because he is black and white, or B and W, or B-Dub. I liked this because Buffalo Wild Wings, or BWW, is my all-time favorite place to get wings, especially when I was in college, and I call it B-Dubs.
het VPI Female - Vanilla was chosen because she is the only ball that I have with a normal phenotype and vanilla is used to describe things that are plain. She does have a kick butt black back that is about 95% free of any pattern.
Hypo/Orange Ghost Female - Bella was chosen because there is a variety of Orange that is called Bellavida and Earth to Bella is a favorite Incubus song of mine.
Lemonback male - Einstein was chosen because the variety of lemon found for sale most often in grocery stores is called a Eureka lemon, and Eureka made me think of Einstein.
These names are in keeping with my naming method of using a twist on the morph name. My female Cinnie is named Nutmeg, another brown spice. My male Pastel is name Gypsos, the Greek word for gypsum, which is a mineral used in the making of pastel paints. My Spider is named Serine, which the primary protein used in silk making by spiders to wrap prey and egg sacs.
Does anyone else use a similar method for naming, or at least use the same method for all of their names? I know that all of LGrays' snakes have something to do with serpent or snake in their names.
