looking to add to my collection, but what?
i am looking to add another snake to my collection but i would like something besides a cornsnake or a ball python i have both already, the reason why i posted here is im looking for something with about the same adult size and housing conditions of a ball python. i am getting a animal plastics t3 which is 36x24x12 so i would like any snake i buy next to be able to use this through adulthood, any thoughts or opinions are appreciated
*if the moderators feel this needs to be moved please feel free i posted here because i value the opinions of the people who post here they are always really helpful
thanks*

Carpet pythons, that cage would be perfect(although they could use some extra height). They are a snake that is always exploring and getting into trouble and they get to a decent size.
My female JCP just shed(as in 5 mins ago) and her shed was 6 feet 11 inches, so shes around 5.5-6 feet long and i can easily handle her with no problems. Mine is also in a 3x2x2 PVC cage.

I've only known people with experience, but you could go with a Blood Python or Green Tree Python. Both get to a decent but manageable size and are very pretty.

Re: looking to add to my collection, but what?
a green tree python would be awesome but i think my cage would need more height it measures 36" wide by 24"deep and 12" high , im really looking for something that can live its life out in this cage as i dont have the money to buy a bigger one not saying i wont have the money later i just want to be sure the snake does not suffer because i bought something i was not prepared for if that makes sense. im really in no rush im just weighing my options at this point and just trying to see what is out there.

They actually don't require much height at all....

Re: looking to add to my collection, but what?
thanks guys, i will need to do some reading and see what the exact requirments are for housing the blood python, green tree pythons and the carpet pythons listed above. saw some pics of some blood pythons last night and am really liking what i saw if my cage is able o house a small male through adult hood i might try and find one.
does anyone else have any options on other snakes i could look into or any other info or opinions on the three listed above, im really interested in more info on those blood pythons if anyone keeps or breeds them
