Possible pairings for the upcoming season

Just wanted some feedback from fellow breeders. I am considering crossing a Black Pastel with a Black Pastel. What do you think? I have heard some bad side effects such as duck bills and other genetic problems.

Re: Possible pairings for the upcoming season

Man I would go for the black pastel x black pastel, super blacks are awesome and I have never actually seen a duckbilled animal in person.... that being said... I have a few projects coming together....
(after typing this realized I put the females first so maybe that helps understand the pairings better)
Spider x leopard het red (hopefully he will be ready )
Mojo x leopard het red (again hope he is ready)
    Black pastel x Pastave ghost
    Pastel x specter
spider x specter and possibly pastave ghost
and a couple of normal females that will breed what ever I have availible for them......

DH blizzard sd retic x dh blizzard sd retic hoping to hit the double recessive this year!

I also have a few litters of boas I am expecting
Hoping to put what I belive to be a super hypo jungle to a couple normal girls this year

I have mixed emotions on it. Hate to see deformities but really dig the super form. Good luck with it. On the up side I have seen several that were completely fine.

While I work with black pastels I always chose to stay away from the super, ultimately it is your choice and you need weighs the pros and the cons and make an educated decision....no one can make it for you.
