Corn shed advice needed!
So today I went to pick up my corn (I saw something on his chin and I wasnt sure what it was) Apparently my little buddy had started his shed process... I have had him for a week, and didnt notice any signs of him even starting the shed process! do corns go through a dull/blue stage like balls?? I feel bad that I interupted his process (he just started back at it, im watching him now, its pretty neat ) im assuming that this is probably why he was semi aggresive this past week. that being said, to corns shed generally every other month, and what signs do they show going into it??? thanks!

All snakes have the same shed process, go into blue and clear up, (which is prob why you didn't notice beforehand) and some get a little grumpy as well. You will notice his ees become opaque and his color dull, just like ball pythons. Congrats on him!
Also, your sig says he's a ghost.. probably akes the shedding beggining a little hard to see.

Re: Corn shed advice needed!
That makes sense! thanks! I guess now ill just have to keep an eye on the calender and take a closer look after a month or so. I was so cool to watch! when my ball sheds (ive yet to actually witness it) she always ends up with the skin being rolled up like a "contreceptive" but my little corn buddy, once he got the upper and lower jaw off, he basically slid right out of it!
Edit: Yes he is a ghost, so I can believe that lol. he doesnt look tooooo much different from what I can tell now, but tommorow ill look closer and see if I notice a more defined change.

Re: Corn shed advice needed!
Yes, your baby was probably in shed. I know it's hard to see with a ghost. I have an anery and he's really hard to tell sometimes. I also have a snow...snakes that are light colored and have red eyes are VERY hard to see when they go to shed. I have to look at her eyes very closely and you can see them cloud up but never go blue. As for how often they shed, they should shed every 4-6 weeks depending on how fast they are growing. My snow's last shed was only 4 weeks from the shed before that while my bloodred usually sheds every 6 weeks or so. It really just depends on the growth rate of the snake.

Gotcha, thank you! so far, hes 4 for 4 with feedings (3 with the breeder, one me) so im assuming he will be a decently fast grower because hes not shy about eating. guess ill have to watch him closely around this time next month!
