    dumerils morphs?

So I got my first dumerils boa about 2 weeks ago and she has quickly become my favorite snake to handle. Sooo I've been looking for another. Preferably a bf for her. I came across one that was the right sex and size. The thing is he is trying to tell me that it is the only known morph of dumerils. Says its a ruby line dumerils and they go for $400 as hatchlings and since he has no choice but to get rid of it because he's moving out of state. I can get it for much less. I really can't see anything special about it other than it has some reddish colored blushing near its head. I'm probably going to get it just because the price and age but don't want to sound like an idiot trying to brag about my dumerils morph. Lol thanks for any help/advice.

As far as I know there aren't any proven genetic morphs in Dumeril's boas. But there is a good amount of natural variation in them.

Some claim that there is a T+ Albino Dumeril's line in Germany but I can't find anything to confirm this claim.

The only "morphs" i have seen breeders working on so far have been trying to breed more red to pink to peach into thier dums. The pattern stays the same.. only dif. Is how much red is produced in the line.

No morphs that I've ever heard of or seen. Most Dums are dwarfish to begin with. Grab it anyway.

    Re: dumerils morphs?

Thanks all. I couldn't find hardly anything on the net. I tried multiple search engines and they all turned up about the same.... Nothing. So ill take his word with a grain of salt. The price is right for an adult male at $100. Now I just have to either get another set up or goto the shop and start building a rack for 96 quart tubs. Lol.
