Red face What to do, What to do...

    Hello All. Me again.
I have a total of $204.89 bucks of spending monies.
I own both a Albino Corn and a Ball Python.
I am looking to upgrade there enclosures.
Would like to know my options.
Repticon is coming to town in October
so maybe I'll find something there.
Just would like a little pre game knowledge of my limits.
Wanted to get a small rack but from what I've been told,
it wouldn't work when keeping two different kinds of snakes
due to the heating arrangements of said racks.
Looked at AP's T8 but they're a little out of my budget.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!! -HSJ

Pictures and information about what you've already got would be helpful.

You're going to have a hell of a hard time finding a rack for that little unless you build it. Even still, you'd need a thermostat.

I wouldn't recommend using a rack for a ball python and a corn snake. They have vastly different humidity and temperature requirements. If you want to upgrade to something nice looking, you could always consider getting a couple of cages at the expo. Professional cages like AP, vision, boaphile, boamaster, etc are all really nice looking. You might consider investing in some lid clamps if not.

I have four tank clamps on the BP and two on the corn. They're fine and secure.

Contrary to what other people have said, you CAN have BPs and Cornsnakes on the same rack. I do. I have a eight 28qt tub rack. All you have to do is buy one WITHOUT heat tape and wire it yourself. Then you can have two different heat tapes, one set to a 90* hotspot and one on an 85* hotspot for the corn. That's how mine is. I've got 4 corns and 2 BPs in my rack and I've had no issues. Because it's very expensive to buy a pre-made rack, you can build your own. Mine was made out of a Home Depot plastic shelving unit. It works great. If you do something like that, you can have a row or two of 28qt tubs (2 per row) for your corns and use 28qt tub for your BP until it outgrows it and then upgrade to a 41 qt. The nice thing about this shelving unit is that it can hold both 28qt AND 41 qt. Here's an image of my rack:

If you did want to purchase a premade rack, you can order one from a company called "Evolution Reptile" their racks are not assembled, but they do have free shipping and you can put it together on your own. They have several sizes. I would recommend the four 41qt tub rack. I'm going to be purchasing the five 41qt tub in the future.

You could build a five slot rack out of melamine get two t-stats and heat tape for 150. That will allow you to have two separate temps for each snake

Hmmm. Seems like my only options as far as my price range. I might give it a shot. Anyone have and diy videos or tutorials just so I can get an Idea?

here is what I modeled mine after. He used 2 shelving units. I started off with one and I will make another to stack onto it in the future.
