I don't have air conditioning, which is worrysome since I have 5 eggs to protect and temps are promising to get to the 100's (yikes). I have an incubator which I kinda made out of a cooler. It has heat pads and a heat regulator which turns on and off based on the heat.
So does anyone have recommendations on how to keep the eggs at the right temp when the place is sweltering? I've been monitoring the eggs closely when it gets hot... and when the temp got up above 90, I used a little bit of ice on top of the container to cool it down... but then I don't want it to get ya know, too cold either.
Thanks. Ideas are appreciated and I want all the eggs to hatch safely (they seem to be doing well so far and are halfway through)
Last year only 2 of the 5 eggs hatched (All the pastels died), but I want five for five this time... please help...
