Bigger meals less frequently or smaller meals more frequently?
Which is better? And how does it affect growth rate, health, and likeliness to go off feed (eat more consistently)?
I saw the snakebytestv "experiment" but that was for corns I think balls are different.

My animals eat with more consistency with smaller meals once a week.
I have a few girls that can take down a retired female rat but if they are fed that they will refuse food for the next 3 to 4 weeks. In addition they are very sluggish, seems miserable not moving around...
What needs to be kept in mind that even small meals on a weekly basis is still likely more food than they would eat in the wild.
I feed medium rats to my female probably around 125 grams (about 5 weeks old), male get small rats around 65 grams (about 3 weeks old)
Works for me.

Same here. It is not a contest to see who gets the biggest, fastest.
