Project decision thoughts
If you had a choice between 1.0 het pied 0.1 het pied 0.1 pied for 875 shipped or ... 1.0 het pied 0.1 het pied 1.0 pied 0.2 66%ph pied for 875 shipped what would you do?

or better put..... 0.1 pied 40% white
vs
1.0 pied low white 0.2 66% ph pied
both for 650
or neither and just stick with 1.1 het pieds for 225 and prove them out?
explanations to why please. long run 2-4 year ROI?

Well if I had a pied male, I would have more options in my opinion because lets just say you already have a female adult morph ball python, you can put your pied male with that female and make hets and have better looking morphs in the future. Remember males can mate with multiple females and you can prove out those 66% hets and possibly make more pieds. If you have a female pied, you have to wait 2-3 years to breed it and you will have less options. IF you have more ball pythons, IMO, the second choice is better to me because with a male pied you can breed multiple ball pythons and have cool morphs in the future like mojave pied, pastel pieds, etc. PLUS, with a male pied, you can prove out those two 66% hets and if they are het, 50% of the clutch should be pieds. If you have a female pied, you have to wait 2-3 years or longer depending the apetite of the snake and only stick with one type of morph when breeding. With a male you can have so many outcomes and results.

I bought my male albino from them and was thoroughly happy. They were great throughout the entire process and wouldnt hesitate to buy from them again.
I would also go with the 0.1 pied. The female pied alone would be worth the $650.

I put my deposit in today for the female pied, thanks everyone for the consensus input!
But also Rat160, when you say them do you mean a particular seller or were they partners at some time?

Right now I own a 1.2 with a 1.1 incoming.
I was thinking along the same lines as you maddumpling but I think i decided I didn't wanna make hets the first breeding season and would rather have visuals. then from those visuals since I will have have two possible pied clutches I am hoping to pop a male to hold back that I can start my het lines with...since the male would only take about a year to be mature and would have all of the females ready for him when he was.
I've been waiting til I have all the snakes here to update my sig list of animals
