Springtails safe in a snake viv?

Hi I searched around alot on google but I only found people using springs for Cresteds and frogs mostly. Not one mention of it in a snake tank. Would it be alright? Not necessarily for a BP btw but a higher humidity snake

Side note: I use springs successfully in 4 fully planted crestie/garg cages

Hmmm, that's actually an interesting question, as I've only used springtails in a dart frog enclosure.

It'll be interesting to see if anyone has done this.

I seeded some hatchling/juvie carpet python enclosures (fairly arboreal planted vivs, similar to what you see in GTP keeping) with temperate springtails and gaint orange (aka spanish) isopods.

Although I removed any snake waste I could, I maintained my substrate without changing it out and felt that the janitors helped with any mold or waste that I missed. Plus it's just kinda cool to see them in there.

They have since outgrown their exo terra vivs, but I continue to use springtails and isopods in my rhac and frog vivs.
