Bad shed- did the eyecaps come off?

Radi's previous owner didn't really give him enough humidity, and even though his enclosure was moist enough this time he had a bad shed. The skin came off in pieces (maybe about 20?), but at least it all came off! I gave him a thourough checkup after he was done and paid special attention to the tip of the tail, nostrils, and mouth.

My only concern is that his eyecaps didn't come off. Since he shed in pieces I had no head shed to analyze and I don't want him to be uncomfortable, not to mention the countless problems that could induce!

How can I tell if his eyecaps came off or not? His eyes don't look milky per say, but the rims are a deep brown instead of black.

And if he does still have eyecaps, how do I remove them easily and safley?

    Please and Thanks!

Look closely at the pieces you do have and you should be able to identify the pieces that are from the head. Unless it is hypo you should be able to recognize the pattern as well as the scale shapes. Once you find those, look for the eye caps. If they are there then it is just that the bad humidity has left the new eye caps wrinkled. If they are not there then you know they are stuck. Either way you need to bump up and maintain proper humidity and it will improve with the next shed. Good luck
