A couple of 2012-2013 Breeding plans (opinions?)

Just like the title says. Below are some pictures of a couple of pairings I plan on doing this season. Along with some random pics

    First are the randoms:

"Hopeful" Our hopefully genetic stripe girl, she will be ready to go this year.

Her black compared to our Black Pastel

Of course the black pastel thought i was f/t

    Breeding:
    M Bumble Bee + F Pastel

I'm really indecisive about the stripe girl. I was planning to breed my albino to her, produce some hets, and the following year or two hopefully get some albino genetic stripes going on.

Butttttt.. Then I thought, what if I bred my yellowbelly to her??

Would that make some really cool looking morphs?? Just curious.
Thanks for your time ladies and gents.

Well.... You could go this route - http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...-yellow-belly/

That thing is pretty sick. If you don't have the pastel yet, they're not that hard to come across. I don't know what one without pastel would look like.

Here's one of your thoughts in picture form - http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...enetic-stripe/

Personally, I like the first one.
    -Brock-
    1.0 normal (Monty).
    1.0 cat (Chooey).

Thank you for the response. I had the idea of going for pastel yellow Belly's! But would my genetic stripe look like that one when I add the pastel?

Just to clear things up, your striped girl is not a genetic stripe but a blackback, which could be passed onto her offspring. A genetic stripe is a completely different morph.

I would pair the blackback girl to your yellowbelly. It would be nice to see that blackback passed onto some yellowbellies

Thank you heather, black back does seem more appropriate. Are there a lot of albino black backs out there ?

Not a lot, that I know of. And from my understanding they are known as white back. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
