Woke up to see my female Black Pastel so tightly in a mound, I wasn't entirely sure that she had laid her eggs yet.
Turns out she was on a clutch of six.
She was bred by a Mojave most of the season. I threw in a Calico once, and caught a lock. I would be happy with either being the daddy, but ecstatic if I get a mixed clutch.
Here's a bonus peek through a window of an egg in my Calico X Sulfur Mojave clutch on day 52. I know this one is striped like her mother from previous peeks, but from this pic it looks a little Calico-ish as well.
My fingers are crossed that I've got at least one 3-banger from the remaining 5 eggs.
