Dad:
So I'll start with the worst part first. My Dad is physically recovering from all his issues fine. But his memory issues have worsened. He may have onset of alzheimer's. He remembers everyone but he can't remember what you told him last time he saw you. He also never remembers why he is in the hospital to begin with. He's started getting Aricept so we are hoping it will help. Either way though, he and my Mom will need an assisted living person to be their daily once he gets home.
House:
The house closing is 9 days away! So far so good! We can't wait! So much more room for stuff and it's a lot closer to my work. I'll be cutting my dailycommute in half.
Snakes:
I will not be breeding much if at all next year. If I do breed it won't be this many clutches. I've got a good bit I am going to hold back and raise up. What sucks is I've only moved 2 out of the door and only have 4 committed reserves with down payments. That's out of of 36 babies. It is as if I'm going to have to drops prices by 50% market value or more to move them out. What also sucks are the babies that haven't eaten after 2 months. So frustrating.
Watching Anime and Learning Japanese
I've watched so much anime this year. More than I have in a long time. The wife and I both watched all of Inuyasha and Yu Yu Hokusho. We are getting into Corpse Princess. Chanin watched Clannad After Story and started bawling after one of the main characters died. I am currently addicted to Ranma 1/2. I am about 100 episodes in. It's the funniest anime I have ever seen. Now some of these were dubbed but some we also had to watch subbed. Which has led me to want to learn Japanese. I am tired of having to read and watch at the same time. I've tried LiveMocha but it just didn't have to explanations of this I was looking for. So I am mainly using http://www.learn-japanese.info/index.html. I understand the basic sentence structure and standard greetings and sayings and some vocab. I am starting to pick up more of language the animes but the speed at which they talk can be a hindrance. So I've asked around and some of my friends have an interest in this so I am going to try to get a little study group going.
Well, I guess that's it for now.
