Im no expert but i would call that a wolf spider too lol 
Cool looking spider. I dont have any urge to handle them but arachnids are very fun to watch.

Actually this was shot with an old Cannon A70 which has a closeup mode, so the end of the lense was about 5 inches from the spider. Not a great camera but it captures pretty good detail in that mode. I cropped the photos and zoomed in with photoshop. I hate spiders. So trust me when I say if it had moved while my hand was that close, the neighbors would have heard me scream like a little girl.

Beautiful pictures. But no, I don't like spiders. You wouldn't have caught me that close to it. Can't those wolf spiders jump quite the distance?
