Couple questions about size and weight of a your BP and feeding frequency.

I have asked a few of these before, but I just want to get another opinion with possibly more information. My ball python is 3 to 3.5 months old, I'm not exactly sure. I have had him since about june 20th, but he was bought at a pet store so I can't be sure of the age exactly. He has grown from 85 grams on june 26th of this year to 155 grams after a big poop today. Would this be considered a slow, fast, or average rate of growth for his age? Also I bought a bag of mice that are a little too small for him, they are between 15-18 grams each, how often should I feed these since they are a little too small? Would twice a week or 2 at once if he will take them be safe and not overfeeding? Also how much should the amount I feed these small mice increase as he grows?

ok so the growth seems to me to be on the slower side while still being normal nothing to be concerned about sounds perfectly healthy there. as far as the mice being smaller either 2 at once or every 4 days rather then 7 days would be fine, im sure there not half the size of the previous mice just smaller so id go with the every 4 days, but shouldn't make much of a difference either way. as far as increasing her food size she wont be on mice much longer at all, i like to use this as a loosely followed guide line http://www.ballpythonz.net/feeding.html hope that helps

hopefully she doesn't give a fuss about switching to rats when its time XD

Every ball python grows at a different speed so it's hard to say. It sounds good. When feeding, you're supposed to feed 10-15% of their body weight every 4-5 days...so a 15g mouse every 4-5 days is perfect for him. No need to feed anything larger.
