Fresh shed boa, with a crummy photographer ......

Ok, so I got the light tent, and have had lots of help (Thank you Camel!). But either my camera or myself (or both, lol) is not up to snuff. So here is what I came up with. My boa shed this morning.

First, I caught him in the act-

Then, I thought I would test my photography abilities-

I did figure out how to get him to at least hold still for pictures, give him a prop to hold on too. Sorry pics aren't the best. This is when I gave up and my daughter was taking pictures. Exactly what he did to me every time I got the camera close enough, lol. Social little farts. :p

Sorry pics are not the greatest, I'm still trying to figure it all out! Thanks for looking.

If you want to get rid of that blueish hue, Look up how to set a custom white balance on your camera. It will make a huge difference in how your pictures turn out. Nice boa BTW.

Thanks, I have been messing with the white balance. Tried every setting in the book. May be my camera, or the tent, or me, or who knows. Before they were "blueish" they were too dark, not right colors, Gah! Driving me nuts. Think I need a nicer camera...
