Hey guys! I got my 1st BP last weeks and today was a big day!

-Today was 1st cage cleaning, weight, and handling day. I have a few ?'s He's a male 2 1/2 month old and weighs 61g at 12ish inches long..does that sound healthy? I fed him his first meal with me on friday which was a mouse weanling live, he ate it after a few mins! I used Repti-Bark as the substrate to help with the humidity (anyone ever use this??)

I kept the handling session today to a minimun not to stress him out..maybe 7 mins...He seemed comfortable didnt even ball up or look scared just wrapped around my hand and than went up my arm and around a few times..im guessing that a good thing?

So my questions are:

2 1/2 month old male is 61g at 12in is that sound ok

When should we step up from mice weanlings..I know the 10-15% body weght for prey rule but is there anything else to consider?

Since he's still young I've read that i should be feeding him every 5 days..is that ok and if it is...when should we stop and move to every 7-10?

I was told he is a ghost..is he?? and also its my understanding ghost are less "glossy" and more on the dull side?? so using his scale color to predict an upcoming shed wouldnt work so well....

Thanks so much for the Help!
