There are a lot of good breeders right on this site, look for links in peoples signatures.

Here are some of the big breeders that I like:

    http://jkobylkareptiles.com

    http://pythonregius.com

    http://www.ralphdavisreptiles.com

    http://newenglandreptile.com/nerd/

As for what morph that is completely up to you and your budget. all ball pythons have the same care requirements no matter what the morph.

Some common (read cheaper) morphs are:

    • Pastel
    • Spider
    • Albino
    • Black Pastel
    • Cinnamon
    • Fire
    • Yellowbelly

If you plan on breeding then I would advise that you stick with codominate/dominate morphs as recessive morphs are more complicated when breeding.

    Check out this website: http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/

Go to your local reptile show. It will allow you to expose yourself to all the different types if morphs and combos out there. As for morphs to look at. Its been said many times on this forum to buy whatever you like and can afford and just go for it. Find something you enjoy and love and you won't get tired of it easily.

Co-dom morphs are a great way to start. Hets and recessive as stated above are more complicated, but if you like what you see, go for it. If you think you'll get into breeding down the road, spend the extra money and pick up some females to raise up as they take longer and are more valuable in the long run.

    Best of luck to you.

If money is tight you could also work out a price with breeders at shows especially if you have cash on hand. Some breeders at shows tend to have lower prices than advertised on their website as well. You also save on shipping!

When it comes to BPs rep isn't everything, especially when you're looking at a gorgeous looking morph that is perfectly healthy and for a good price. Just my 2 cents.
