    Feeding schedule

I am just curious if people with multiple BPs try to get them feeding on the same days. I just got my new pastel male yesterday and they sent me home with a free hopper to feed him because they said today would have been his normal day. I went ahead and fed him while I was setting up his enclosure. I am wondering though since I feed my other BP on Fridays, if it would be wise to also have my new lil fella on the same day. Or does it just not matter?

It's up to you. I have three set days I feed most of mine (Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday), and have a couple who are on a 5 and 10 day so their feeding day switches. I just have the week eaters on three separate feed days so I'm not feeding 10+ snakes on one day! That's a lot of thawing, heating up, offering, etc since some I really need to play with for them to take their food.

All of mine feed on the same day. It is just simpler that way. A few days without food to modify the schedule isn't going to hurt him in any way.

I do something very similar. I feed half my collection one day. The other half another day.

    Re: Feeding schedule

I have a calender set up in my room where I mark down who feeds on what day. My yearling corns are on a 7 day schedule, my baby corns on a 5 day schedule, and my BPs are on a 4 day schedule. However, there have been days where I feed everyone at once. Luckily, my collection is still manageable and all but 1 are GREAT eaters so it's usually not an issue.

Mine all get fed on the same day. But I got a little guy coming who will probably go on a 5 day schedule, so there will be some shuffling. But if you are trying to get your guy on the same day as your others, it won't hurt him to wait until next Friday.

Either Sunday or Monday depends on what's happening that day. Everyone gets fed the same day, 6 balls, 1 JCP, 1GTP, and 1 corn. Easy to do feedings that way, put all rats on a tray place in reptile room in front of fan. As they defrost they sent the room. Go in around 7-9pm hit each rat for. Few mins with the hair dryer, done everyone is fed untill next week. They all have adopted to this schedual because I work weird hours since my job has no set time for when you get off, so I can't have rats defrosting all day long every day.

    Re: Feeding schedule

Now I think I should modify so I'm feeding someone every day. I LOVE feeding day - on the rare occasions that everyone eats.
