My bp Ozzy who I got in Dec. is just gotten to the point where when handled he will curl around my hand and arm
He use to just want to run but now he will curl and hold on tight when trying to explore and will finally run thru my hands and use them for security
I didnt think it would take him this long and now I am gonna freak him out again taking him to the vet next Sat morning

I am glad to see he is finally trusting me, Yeah!!!!
I just wanted to share as it is another milestone for me and Ozzy

    Need Advice

I'll bet it was frustrating for it to take so long....but how satisfying to know that you've finally won the trust of such a shy animal! Keep up the good work!

I've had Bongo for 8 months, and he still doesn't seem to totally trust me. He's usually on top guard, breathing heavily, and flinches whenever I move near his head. It's getting better, but the weird part is, he only does it with me! When my girlfriend holds him he doesn't have a care in the world. I hate to say it but it hurts my feelings, that rotten snake!

I wouldn't sweat it too much. Just like people, some snakes are more reluctant to trust that you're not predatory than others. Seymour is definitely the most outgoing and trusting snake here, but I am sure with patience and handling the others will come along just fine. There's also the fact that juvies tend to be more skittish than adults anyway.
