It can be a few days before they shed. Are you absolutely sure that he hasn't shed yet? I've had a few snakes have stealthy sheds where I didn't find the shed until a few days later when I was cleaning the cage.

The shedding process should take about a week. But it isn't an exact science.

Once my snakes eyes clear it's usually within 2-3 days that they shed. My pinstripe just shed today and her eyes cleared two days ago.

My Pied's eyes just dulled yesterday and todays her entire body is dull. I'm figuring she'll shed in about a week. She didn't eat today either, but my pinstripe will eat straight though an entire shed cycle and not miss a single meal. All my other bp's will refuse during a shed.

The whole cycle takes about a week.
The eyes turn blue and the belly turns pink then clears up. After the eyes clear, it can take about 2-3 days for the snake to actually shed it's skin.

It's rather obvious to notice whether or not a snake has shed. They look very dull before shedding and very bright and overall cleaner afterwards.
