    KISS and Motley Crue 8-14-12

This is from KISS and Motley Crue's current show, The Tour. For the first time in 30 years, they are touring together again(something i thought id never see in my lifetime). I absolutely hate the venue they played in since the layout of the venue is dumb and getting is a real drag. I left my house at 3pm to pick up 2 friends along the way and we still got there late while motley Crue was playing and since there's so much walking from the parking lot to the venue itself, all i was able to get from them is their last 2 songs. But overall it was a great show and something to say that i saw 2 of the greatest bands play on the same bill

I'm sure it was a fun show. KISS was my favorite band since forever, but I lost a ton of respect for them over the years. I hate seeing Tommy Thayer in Ace's makeup (he seems like a good guy though). When they reunited with Ace and Peter it seemed like kind of a sham after seeing another drummer going to town behind a curtain as Peter probably had rubber mats over his drums. I'll take 70's and 80's KISS as my favorite band of all time, but now it's just about making a buck.
Motley is always great, although Vince Neil's voice is terrible. That's been true since the 80's, though.

I saw Def Leppard last weekend and those guys are just crazy good live, even at this stage in their career. Extremely musically sound.

I'm not a really a fan of Kiss, but, one of my friends is and he's been talking about them more and more recently. Probably about this.

P.S. - Is it weird that when I saw 'Motley' in the title I thought I was going to see a Motley boa? ._.
