Some natural sunlight pictures will be great. The flash washes out the snake making it hard to judge. But if I had to decide from the picture alone, I'd say not a fire.

I would soak him and get that stuck shed off so we can see the head better. I don't believe it's a fire but can't completely rule it out either.
