I know that sexually mature male green tree pythons will sometimes shed sperm plugs (as opposed to shed hemipenes). my adult sorong x jayapura has never been sexed, but I strongly believe that he is male based on his size alone. I'm still not comfortable sexing chondros, regardless of age, but he did just shed out this week, leaving behind what I would consider proof of his gender. I have seen a myriad of pictures and read Maxwell's book cover-to-cover, but I wanted to post a few pictures (of very poor quality) to see if these are in fact sperm plugs attached to the shed. any input from people who keep and breed GTPs would be appreciated.
now here's hoping this 2011 neo proves to be female
