    Stevie and Ray

I can't tell you all how excited I am to work with these guys. I've been in love with Gale's eyeless, Athena, since I've seen pictures of her. A member on here was willing to let me adopt these from her with the understanding that they wouldn't be bred/sold/etc. I was all too happy to oblige! Breeding is one of the more exciting aspects of our hobby, but keeping snakes for the love of it is what keeps me involved, and they're fascinating! I snapped a couple pics of them before they were put into hatchling tubs to settle. First try at feeding will happen next Wednesday

Stevie, the female, is the smaller of the two. She has a slightly tweaked lip that causes her tongue to come out at an angle, and she had feeding issues in the beginning. Before she was shipped to me she was eating on her own though, and I'm hoping she'll start getting some good size to her after she's had a chance to make herself comfortable. It's captivating to watch her move around, the off angle of her tongue doesn't seem to hinder her one bit

Ray is a bit bigger, and has some really interesting orangy color to him. Took him out in the sun momentarily to try and capture it better, but after a minute or so I figured it would be better to put him in the tub.

After they've had a chance to eat a couple of times and get used to things I'll get some better photos. Can't get enough of these guys, it's so hard to not just sit and watch them all day
