    Dividing CB70 Tubs?

Any one have any success stories about dividing adult tubs to use for babies? If so what did you use and do you have any pictures? I don't mind making it permanent since I can purchase more tubs for when they get larger.

Here's the thing I purchased a CB70 3 tub rack from RB and I currently only have 1 snake at 780 grams (weighed yesterday). And make note this is a major down size for him as he has been in his own AP T8 for the last year. And the main reason I switched is because I can not fit his t8 into my new apartment (well I did but the couch is sitting in my girlfriends parents garage because his cage is where the couch needs to go).

However, since I now have room for 2 more. I plan on filling these spots as soon as the funds become available(hoping the T8 with RHP will sale soon).

I have seen many threads on other sites where people say they have divided these tubs long ways to fit 2 snakes in 1 tub (although I wouldn't I just want to make it smaller for them until they are larger). But they do not include photos or any details.

Also can I use any tub the same height and smaller tub, if so do they make one?

I have had success with my hatchling bumblebee in a cb70 tub, straight out of the egg she was in a Cb70, and started eating with few issues. I see no problem with putting hatchlings in big tubs, I just recommend "cluttering" the tub with lots of newspaper, fake plants, etc. I will post a pic of my hatchlings setup.

Awesome news! I like to keep tons of platic plants and as much clutter in my T8 so this will be easy.

Great looking bumblebee! our 2nd or 3rd will be a bee female for sure.

    Re: Dividing CB70 Tubs?

No experience dividing large tubs but animalplastics.com has racks that are very versitile. Pretty inexpesive also. I have one for my geckos it takes 15 and 32 quart tubs. 2 small tuna or 1 large tub per shelf. I use 32 quart for breeding trios and 15 quart to seperate them when breeding season is over. That route will also give you room for hatchlings down the road after you raise up your trio and breed.

Another rack sounds great but I really just dont have the room. The CB70 rack from RBI will be also used as my bedside table on one side. My king sized bed takes up pretty much the entire bedroom. And I would love to put it in the closet, which is huge! But there isnt a single power outlet in it. And my girlfriend is not going to allow me to run an unsightly extension cord across the bedroom to the closet.

And by the time the 2 females we pick up are large enough to breed we should be buying our first house. Since by then she should be done with nursing school.
