    Scale rot issue, please help

I'm almost positive my ball python has scale rot. I had been washing him in the solution that websites say to use but it has gotten worse. I had removed everything from his cage and he was crawling on paper towels. I'm trying to avoid taking him to the vet so is there anything else I can do for him? Will he shed all this away on his next shed? Please help.

That looks like some gnarly burns! I have no experience with scale rot and cant really help on the issue but if you ask me those look like burns. What is your husbandry like?

Looks like its time for a vet visit.

So you are soaking him in a diluted Betadine solution? For how long exactly?

What are you using to heat the cage? What are you using to measure temperatures? (trying to rule out the possibility of a burn.

Definetly looks like a burn! A vet is necessary asap! What do you heat his cage with? Is it regulated?

That looks horrible. Please take him to a vet, I'm sure he's suffering.

I don't even know what to say to you right now. If you had burns like that, I'd bet my life's worth you'd be in the ER crying and getting treatment.
Trying to avoid the vet? Are you kidding me? This snake has BURNS on his stomach and vent. Imagine if YOU had burns on your genital area and stomach.
If you don't get that snake to a vet it is going to die a terrible death.
    GO.TO.THE.VET.
    No arguing. No discussion. GO.NOW.
And if you can't afford it for the love of God have it put down and don't buy a snake again until you have the money to take it to the vet.
