I got my F10 from Reptile Basics. You can also use Chlorhexidine. I have also heard of people using a diluted vinegar solution...

+2 I use bleach but make sure if you do lots of rinsing (until you don't feel the "bleach slime") and let air dry till you can't smell the bleach anymore.

Re: new cages which cleaner
Bleach works great but does require a lot of rinsing and air time to get ride of the smell. I used bleach for almost a year for my cleaning then switched to F10 and well I love it. Cleans a lot easier than bleach no smell and the little bottle will last you forever. I use it in a 1000ml bottle and add 4ml of solution so a little goes a long way I have been using it for a month or so and have had no ill affects on rats or snakes and it makes everything smell much better in my opnion. Reptile Basics and Bean Farm carry it or I have always seen it at the expo's.

I agree the F10 line of products is awesome. Just remember all reptile friendly disinfectants work only on clean surfaces! The do not disinfect dirty surfaces, a good soap/detergent is needed as a first step and be sure to wait the correct contact time. I like f10 because they make both detergent and disinfectant a seriously great combo!

Honestly, I use Clorox wipes. It's more convenient and cheaper than using F10 + paper towels. Doesn't appear to affect the snakes at all.
