hatchlings converting to f/t question

Are hatchlings easier to convert to f/t if they have a feisty appetite? I ask this because I never had experience with switching HATCHLINGS to f/t. I have experience with switching adults and juveniles to f/t and some were difficult and impossible and some were easy. I am interested in a hatchling bp and the reputable owner says he never took f/t, but has an aggressive appetite and in my experience with adult bps that the aggressive appetites switch easily.

It seems to be easier to switch hatchlings than adults, in my experience.

Get a brooders lamp from home depot with a 250W heat bulb. Then place your Frozen Rats under that lamp (about 18 inches below) for about 1-2 hours depending on the size. The rats are so warm and dry that any snake will eat it especially when you wiggle it with tongs. I just got 2 hatchling females in 3 days ago that have had 2 live mice meals only, and after having them 2 days they ate a F/T rats on first attempt. Btw, I also sometime heat the face or head of the rat close under the light bulb right before I present it.

Basically, with the correct warming method, I think a snake just does not have the intelligence or instinct to tell the difference between live and dead especially when presented correctly with motion and appropriate temperature of the F/T mouse.

BTW, None of my pythons would eat when the Mouse was Damp.

My Fire baby girl supposedly had 3 live meals [questionable] and when I offered her a thawed hopper, she sniffed it a bit, picked it up, dragged it into her little half-coconut shell hide and ate it.
I suspect that possibly, hungry hatchlings might be able to be started on F/T.

If I ever get any hatchlings, I'm gonna give it a shot.

I just picked up a 5 year old adult who'd never had F/T in his life and he immediately ate.

I have two others [male Fire, male Bee] who simply, utterly refuse to switch, no matter what.

My het Clown girls will go off feed and one live feeding kicks them back into gear for F/T.

I have no idea why.
