Bp weezing
So yesterday when I was feeding my bp I noticed she is weezing when she exhales. And its really concerning me. I noticed also that she is going into shed, skin dulling and eyes changing. Could the shed be causing weezing or do you think she could hsve a resperatory infection? Should I take her to the vet or just wait till after the shed?
thank you

i had this problem. it was mites. check her heat sensory holes for any black dots(those are mites) also check her water bowl for small dots. if there is switch her to paper towels disinfect everything. give her a soak and rinse her heat sensory area till you see no more black dots. she should be okay in a couple days. thats how i fixed the problem. also keep her away from other snakes.

Mites don't cause wheezing, but it's entirely possible that a ball could have mites and an RI at the same time.
Wheezing isn't normal ever. Sometimes you might hear a faint clicking during shed. I would make sure her temps and humidity are spot on (maybe raise the ambient temps a bit), and see how she's doing after the shed. I wouldn't want to take a snake in shed to the vet just because it's quite stressful. But of course if she gets worse, you ought to go regardless of shed state.

Re: Bp weezing
thank you for the quick reply's. Actually the ambient temps have been kinda low cause she is in my bedroom and i keep fans and ac on so do you think that could be causing it? i just shut off all the fans and turned the ac off a little. it should help. and i have a reptifogger for the humidity and i bumped that up yesterday cause she is going into shed. hopefully she is ok.
