A 50 gallon tank is going to be a nightmare to maintain heat and humidity in.

Tubs, or PVC cages are much better

A 50 gallon is too big isn't it?

Yes and No. I have had no issues with humidity (helps I live in Florida) and she is already pushing 3 1/2 feet. 40 Should be fine but I would like prices on both. Thanks for your input.

Re: My Ball Needs A New Cage

i would look at some pvc cages such as the animal plastics t3 or t8 they are both on sale at this time and they are supposed to hold heat and humidity alot better than glass tanks. i am making the jump from some 20 long aquariums to the animal plastics t3 i wanted to go with the t8 as it is bigger and 25.00 cheaper and ships in 10 days but i had to go for the t3 as the t8 would not fit in the space i have.

Re: My Ball Needs A New Cage

If you're looking for aquariums I would try Craigslist, there are usually a few good deals.

I have my snakes in PVC's and they're pricey, but they work and look great.
I buy mine from Animal Plastics but Boaphile also has great cages. They're custom made and you can choose between the various structural options provided on the website (dividers, basking shelves, heating fixtures, type of doors, etc).
