    Yellow belly?

    New to ball pythons and just picked this guy up yesterday! Can you help me out with what he is??

    That old picture almost looks like the snake is bigger than in your pics. Take a new picture of yours belly just to know for sure and post it up.

    Really subdued belly but I'd go with yellowbelly. I have a reduced pattern yellowbelly that originated from outback with a very reduced belly similar to that.
    Mini monitors, other select herps, and aquatics.

    It looks yellowbelly-ish for the most part. However, usually the belly plates (wide central scale) on a YB are completely clean where as yours has some flecking on them. I also don't see any prominant head marking. Most YBs have a head stamp of some kind, sort of the same as a Fire would.

    I'm honestly on the fence with this one. It's a very nice looking snake just the same.
