    Comfortable mama rat

One of my females had a litter last week, I went in to check on her this afternoon, and found she had scooped out an area of care fresh bedding in the corner of her tub , was lying flat on her back nursing her babies. I was afraid she would move if I took the top of the tub off so I took a picture from outside the tub. I know the pic are terrible but it was so cute I had to share. I hope you can see how she was feeding her babies.
