Ball pythons are Terrestrial, not Arboreal, a more suitable tank, or even better for a Ball Python, would be a 41 quart tub, or a 40 Gallon tank.

The general rule is the snake needs a tank that is 2/3 the length of the snake in length and 1/3 the snakes length in width. 3ft snake equals atleast 2ft long and 1ft wide.

Either a thirty or forty gallon tank would be a better option than that one. I will take it though, my gtp will love it. It will be alot of wasted vertical space for a bp.

If you have it and are asking for a temporary home, yes it can work. Its just not really long enough to create the proper temp gradient.

Thanks, I thought so but I want to get him out of a tub into a nice tank and I could get that kit for 50 bucks, but oh well.

Why out of a tub? Are you looking for something more aesthetically pleasing to display him in? If so you might look into PVC caging for him. They make excellent display cages and hold temps and humidity a lot better than a tank.

New, where? I really do want one for my gtp. Don't need it just yet but that's a good price.

You should get it cause that's a steal and just put something else in there and get your BP a vert fish tank
