is it just him or all pins?
I dont know what the heck is going on but my pinstripe I bought when he was just over 300 grams and he was long but super thin well I weighed him last week and hes caught up to my pastel at 430 grams in just a month he has ate 1 rat pup at the beginning and about 6 mice I am trying to thicken him up but hes getting longer and addint weight but not fattening up and NOW hes even producing sperm plugs so really is it all male pins that look thin? ive seen quite a few like that but I like my babies plump looking not scrauny...ill add pictures once he sheds....yeah hes shedding too but still not freaking getting fatter....ugh frustration lol

Re: is it just him or all pins?
they do say stripes make you look slimmer... Thats why you always see fat people wearing striped shirts lol. On a serious note my male pin was the same way, super long and kinda skinny.

I don't have any pins, but most of my males are like that, especially my male spider.

My new pin girl is a little lean, but she was only getting fed once every two weeks. I've noticed my males add length first, and then girth. Yours is still pretty young, so I wouldn't be concerned about "fattening him up" as long as he's growing.

males dont need to be plump, lean but healthy is what i shoot for. ive been told by multiple people that lean males tend to breed easier than fat ones. donno if its true, but ive never had to put any effort into getting ball pythons to lock up. all my adult males are between 700-1000 grams.
