Re: Just wanted to share!
Congrats!!
My ball that I just weighed today was 225 grams, which means I should be feeding around 33 grams per feeding. At the moment I been feeding 1 large mouse every four days. I was looking at the small rats, but those are around 50 grams which are just a tad bit too big. I'm thinking that I will continue my current feeding regiment until I can bump up to a small rat. I really think one large mouse every 7 days is not enough since on average they weigh around 19-23 grams, hence the 4 day feeding schedule, but if anyone can provide some additional input it would be appreciated.

Re: Just wanted to share!
Iwas very luckly and had one of my B/P switch to rats without hesitation. The next feeding time she was so excited she struck at it, missed and bit herself. Wish I had that on video, but she did not miss the second strike and has not looked back since.

I was on the 4 day schedule with 3 large mice, so maybe try feeding her more than one. That also was a hint to me that it was time to try a rat. Some days, even after 3, she would still act aggressive like she wanted more.
Thanks y'all! Her gold stripe keeps getting lighter every time she sheds, and she has beautiful color contrast from the black.
I'm looking forward to the next feeding, hopefully she keeps up with rats! I'll know in a couple days when I feed again. She's always been a garbage disposal, so I'm thinking she won't have any issues.
