Hello! This is my snake Syrup, he is a 1.0 normal ball python. He was shipped to me on wednesday, and at first acted scared "balling-up" like they do. Then after 24 hours he had his head out of his hide in a striking position. So I figured Id offer him some food, and he ate it as soon as he figured out what it was lol (he had been fed live rat pinkies, and I threw in a f/t mouse fuzzy). So I let him chill for 48 and then I just checked in on him today and that second picture is how he was posturing. Is he hungry still? Or is he just aggressive? Hes in a sterrilite tub with an UTH and two hides on each end, the cooler side is 80* and the hot is about 90*. Hes chilling mostly on the warm side, just fyi. He isnt my first snake, and deff wont be my last. The last snake I had was an adult female and that was a good 4 years ago, so Im a little bit rusty. Thanks for your anticipated help.
