So I spent many many hours researching what the perfect cage would be for my ball python and this is what I have come up with.
The Dimensions for each cage is 33" Long x 15" Deep x 12" High. The whole thing is 54 inches high. The bottom is just storage as well as a shelf for DVDs.
Of course I would have loved to make it a little bigger, but I have many pets and am limited on space in the room.. so this was the biggest I could do.
There is a hole in the bottom of each of the cages that goes to an under tank tupperwear hide.

Day 1
Purchased Plywood from Home Depot, (2) 4ftx8ft sheets - $77
I also randomly came across this very useful website called http://www.panecutter.ro/EN/ - You put in the dimensions of all the pieces you want to cut and it will show you how to cut them out of the huge 4x8 sheets. Very very helpful and free!
Basically assembled the whole thing together except for the back; Ran out of daylight.

Day 2
I put on the back and cut out all the doors. I cut the holes inside the tank and put on the face frame. I also sprayed the inside of the tanks.
Face Framing costed me $17 from Home Depot.
I decided to buy a 2ft x 4ft sheet of wood from Osh that had nice grain for the doors - $14
I used Rust-Oleum Leak Seal for the inside of the cages. I used 4 cans and that costed me $40.
And the 2 Tupperwear bins costed $9.

Day 3
Filled in all the little holes, sanded and stained.
Stain was from Osh and was $10.
Also purchased all the door knobs and hinges - $30

Day 4
Assembled the whole thing!
Here it is with the doors

All that's left is to figure out how to put the sliding glass doors on, drill vents, and order the RHPs.
The whole thing costed me about $200, not including the glass. The only problem I see so far is that I only have 1 snake.....
And Wallah!
