Welp, it finally happened. My house lost power last night, the stove didn't even work. I believe it was due to either the thunderstorms in the area or the major forest fires that are near here, either way, I was panicking! Both of my ball pythons, Perry and Draco, had their heat mats controlled by hydrofarms which had also lost power. Their thermometers were showing a significant heat loss and the power had been off for an hour already. We had no way of knowing when the power was coming back on and I was DEFINITELY not letting my babies freeze because of some stupid weather! Thankfully my boyfriend lives thrity min away and he let me take my babies over there so they could have their heat back... that is most definitely the greatest thing he could have done. To say he is my hero is an understatement at this point! They are moved back home as of right now even though he said they were welcome to stay for at least a few days. So, thankfully, this is not a disaster post, just a praise.
