    My boyfriend lost our snake

Our morphs live at his house. I left to go to Ohio yesterday, and got a call this morning of my boyfriend frantically telling me that our little spider boy escaped. I told him to put his lamps on the floor and turn them on. He also put hides next to the lamps. He also put a line of flour in the doorways to see what room he's gone to. And I think he said he put a mouse in an empty water bottle an poked holes in it an put it on his floor so snakey would smell him (phone was breaking up, but I'm pretty sure that's what he said). He also put some grocery bags around to see if he could hear him slither on them. And also put human heating pads out. Anything else he can do? I also told him to look everywhere. I warned him to check the screen lid really well, and apparently he didn't take me seriously when I told him snakes are escape artists. I'm so not happy with him right now! Oh and then to top it off, he asked if he coul use sticky traps and tape to trap him! No no no no!!!!

Re: My boyfriend lost our snake

This is like the 4th snake this week.

Anyway, it sounds like he is doing everything he is supposed to.

Both of you need to stay calm, he'll pass over it if he isn't calm. If he is taking the room apart, he should do it systematically. Take a section of the room and look everywhere within that section, put it back together then move to the next.

Re: My boyfriend lost our snake

I'm fine, I think he's pretty worried though. They are moving in a couple weeks, so the house will be emptied, so I'm sure he'll be found. I just wish I was there to help look.
